This Privacy Policy explains how Cherry Pie (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you download, install, or use our mobile applications (the “App”).

Information you provide

Depending on the App’s features, you may provide information such as account details, profile information, content you submit, support messages, or feedback. If the App does not request this information, we do not collect it directly.

Information collected automatically

When you use the App, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

• device type, operating system, app version, and language;
• IP address and approximate location derived from it;
• advertising or device identifiers;
• features used, screens viewed, session dates, and other app interactions; and
• diagnostic, crash, and performance data.

Device permissions

The App may request access to device features such as notifications, photos, camera, microphone, or location when needed for a feature. The App will request permission before accessing protected device data. You can change permissions in your device settings, although some features may then stop working.

How we use information

We may use information to:

• provide, maintain, and improve the App;
• remember preferences and personalize features;
• understand usage and measure performance;
• provide support and respond to requests;
• detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security issues, and technical problems;
• show and measure advertising; and
• comply with legal obligations.

Advertising, analytics, and purchases

Depending on the App and the choices available to you, we may use the following service providers:

• Google AdMob and Appodeal (including BidMachine) to request, display, personalize where permitted, and measure advertising;
• HeyMike Ads to display cross-promotions for other apps. HeyMike Ads may process basic device and app information needed to select, display, and measure a promotion;
• Google Firebase Analytics to understand app usage, Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes, and Firebase Remote Config to deliver app configuration;
• RevenueCat and Apple App Store to offer, validate, and restore in-app purchases. We do not receive your full payment-card details.

Advertising providers may process your IP address, device and advertising identifiers, app interactions, ad impressions, and approximate location derived from your IP address. Analytics and diagnostic providers may process device information, app interactions, performance information, and crash data. Advertising and privacy choices

Where required, the App asks for consent before requesting personalized advertising. On Apple devices, you may also be asked whether you allow tracking across other companies’ apps and websites. Declining tracking does not prevent ads from appearing, but they may be less personalized. When required in your region, the App provides a Privacy Choices control that lets you review or change consent choices. You can also limit tracking or reset advertising permissions in your device settings.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information for money. We may share information:

• with service providers that help operate, analyze, secure, support, or monetize the App;
• when required by law, legal process, or a valid government request;
• to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of users, Cherry Pie, or others; or
• as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

Contact messages

When you use our contact form, your name, email address, and message are processed by FormSubmit so the message can be delivered to us. FormSubmit may retain submissions for up to 30 days. You may instead email us directly if you prefer not to use the form.

Data retention and security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including legal, accounting, and security requirements. Retention periods may vary by data type and service provider. We use reasonable safeguards, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

Your choices and rights

You can manage App permissions, notifications, and certain advertising choices through your device settings. You can also stop further collection by uninstalling the App. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of personal information, or to object to certain processing.

International processing

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. If a change is material, we may also provide notice in the App.
